I would have given less stars but the resort and staff are lovely. The admin and change of flights is a disgrace in the U.K. office

This was our 12th visit to Lemnos, and once again it was absolutely fantastic. Every time we come back, we are reminded why we love this place so much.
Mandy (GM) and the entire team are simply brilliant. They always go above and beyond to make us feel so welcome, and their friendliness and attention to detail make every stay special. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and it really feels like coming back to see friends.
The atmosphere, service, and overall experience are consistently excellent, which is why we keep returning year after year (sometimes 3 times a year).
Thank you to Mandy and everyone at Lemnos for another amazing stay. We are already counting down the days until we return in a few weeks' time.

Fantastic location, facilities and the staff amazing both local & Mark Warner staff made the holiday. We have been to many of the Mark Warner locations and this one ticked all the boxes. The only negative was the long transfer but I have to say it was worth it.

Super week; excellent food, staff, facilities, accommodation. Love Mark Warner as it’s an opportunity to be active and meet lovely like minded friends whilst being spoilt by the staff.

It is a good resort, with good food, and good rooms, but there is room for many improvements. We went for the Windsurf Development Week to get planing better. There were around 17 people on the week, far too many for the two staff. There was not enough equipment in the sizes required and the kit is old, and heavy. Most of the sails were not set up correctly. There was not enough 1-2-1 looking and fixing by following the customer. One instructor sat in the boat and if lucky you sailed past them and vaguely hear a comment. The other was enjoying themselves planing too much rather than following and telling the client what to adjust.
They have far less lead bike rides than when it was a Neilson, which must be disappointing for land lovers.

Staff were friendly at restaurant, bar and Mark Warner staff. The rooms were clean and well managed. The food choices were good and it was great to be able to eat outside under the trees. Some of the sun beds and chairs around the pool and pool bar looked a little dated.

I appreciate the huge efforts the staff team contributed for keeping all the guests happy and safe, meanwhile providing the safety measures for guests to advance the level of their activity skills.
I enjoy the room, the pool view and sea view from the upper floor.
I will definitely come back soon.

If you have not tried this resort then you may not be aware that within a 15 min walk is a beautiful Greek village with tavernas and bars overlooking the sea - such a great complement to the MW offer and definitely worth eating out a few times . Last few visits we have seen dolphins leaping around the very fast windsurfers and sea turtles bobbing around on gentle days - within the area if you go looking you can see tortoises, amazing butterflies and black storks-
All the MW you would expect plus all this - exceptional !!

The lack of wind seriously impacted on the sailing and wind surfing. The tennis and padel were very popular leading to large numbers restricting the court time available.

Great resort with good facilities for sailing, windsurfing, cycling, tennis and pickleball. I really enjoyed regatta week racing a Laser. Staff are lovely, both Mark Warner's and the hotel staff, nothing is too much trouble. We liked it so much in the past that this was the third year in a row we have been. Also they gave me a delicious birthday cake and some bubbly at no charge.
However the flights were changed from early morning to late afternoon / evening at the last minute which was very inconvenient for our party as we only arrived home at 2am and some of the group had to work later that day. I only found out about the change by accident when I looked at my booking as there was no communication from Mark Warner until 1 week before we flew.
The garden rooms are great but all of the rooms we had suffered a number of technical issues this year, such as the kettle shorting out the power to the room when turned on, possibly as they hadn't been checked properly at the start of the season. These issues were very quickly resolved by the hotel technical team.
The pools are great for adults and young children and there are kids clubs if required. However the music from the jetty bar in the evening can be very loud which can be an irritant if you are in the family rooms as it is loud enough not to be able to sleep.
The evening entertainment wasn't as good as in previous years.
The drinks prices at the hotel bars were crazy expensive, over £6 for a standard can of coke and £18 for a cocktail! It means you need to take duty free spirits with you from the UK and go into town to buy mixers. As taxis into town only cost around £5 it was well worth it. The dolmus (local minibus) was even cheaper. There is a supermarket within walking distance. Eating out in the local town is as expensive as the UK now, especially if you choose a restaurant on the harbour's edge.
Take insect repellent and plug in stuff to kill them in the room as the mosquitos were bad in early June this year. While we were at the pool on several days the hotel staff went past with what appeared to be a massive smoke machine that was fumigating the grass and trees but it wasn't nice breathing in that smoke! No warning so no opportunity to avoid the chemicals in the smoke.
Would we go to this resort again - not with the late flights and possibly not even without!
