Children's Holidays - Childrens Club - Childcare Holidays

Children with special needs - We are happy to assist should your child have any special needs.  We would ask that you telephone us before booking to discuss what arrangements might be necessary to ensure that they will be available on your holiday dates. 

Children's Equipment - In our resorts which offer Baby or Toddler Clubs we supply travel cots, steam sterilisers, nappy changing facilities, baby baths and potties. Nappies, processed food and powdered milk can all be purchased locally but if your child is used to a particular brand, we suggest you bring your own supplies.

Children's beds - Children 2 years of age and over will automatically be allocated a bed. If you wish to have a bed side barrier for your child's bed, plesae contact our After Sales Department on 0871 703 3882

24 hour kitchen - Our Mediterranean beach resorts have a kitchen that's open 24 hours a day. You'll find a fridge, kettle, microwave, sterilisers and a supply of UHT whole milk.

Evening crèche service - In all of our resorts we offer an evening crèche service for the younger children (4 months - 5 years) enabling you to have a relaxing dinner.  The evening crèche service operates from 7.30pm until 11.30pm and allows you to drop off your children at our crèche where they will be entertained with films or games or they can go to sleep in a designated quiet area.

Please note: no evening childcare services are provided at Abamar in Sardinia.

Baby Listening Devices - We have a number of digital baby listening devices in resort available on a first-come-first-served basis at a small rental charge of  20 Euros per week.  As we expect demand to be high, we recommend you bring your own devices to avoid disappointment.

Baby-sitting - Extra baby-sitting can be arranged in resort through the Childcare Manager from €12 per hour. Please note that babysitters are in high demand, and whilst every effort is made to accommodate requests, this service is subject to staff availability and cannot be guaranteed. Please give at least 24 hours notice if you require this service.

Evening Entertainment Programme - For children and teenagers aged 6-17 years, we will be running a fully supervised entertainment programme until 10.30pm.  We ask that you sign children in and out if they wish to join in our entertainment programme whilst you are dining.

Children's mealtimes - We understand the need for a healthy balanced diet. With this in mind we ensure appropriate dishes are on offer to suit their taste at every meal.  There is a children's dinner sitting between 6-7pm.

Illness - If your child becomes ill, you will be expected to take over his/her care in order to reduce the risk of transmitting any illness. Your child must be clear of illness before going back into the Children's club and re-admission will be at the discretion of the childcare manager only.

Important Note: Please note that we cannot allow informal supervision in our crèches by nannies who are not employed by Mark Warner as this can affect the operation of the Clubs and may lead to problems of accountability and legal responsibility.

4 to 11 months

The Baby Club provides a calm and comforting environment for the tiny ones and we provide one nanny for two babies. Where possible, babies have the same nanny throughout the week.

The Baby Club costs £150  for either 6 mornings or 6 afternoons and £300 for 6 full days in addition to the infant holiday charge.

1 to 2 years

The Toddler Club is split into two groups: Toddler One for one year olds, and Toddler Two for two year olds.

The Toddler One Club costs £150 for either 6 mornings or 6 afternoons or £300 for 6 full days in addition to the infant holiday charge. There is lots of room for indoor and outdoor play and plenty of stimulating toys and games. We aim to maintain a ratio of one nanny to every three children.

Toddler Two Club is included in the price of your holiday, with an additional 6 half days available for £150. This club provides plenty of fun and stimulating play for the slightly older toddlers both inside and outside the creche. We aim to maintain a ration of one nanny to every four children.

3 to 5 years

Our Mini Club provides a fun filled activity programme throughout the week, jam packed with games, mini tennis, art and crafts and outdoor play. There is a high ratio nannies to children ensuring plenty of interaction.

Either 6 morning or 6 afternoon sessions per week are included in the price of your holiday. Additional 6 half days sessions cost £150.

6 to 9 years

The Junior Club offers a varied programme of activities throughout the day including an introduction to sailing and windsurfing tuition using the latest junior equipment.

Full day supervision in the Junior Club is included in the price of your holiday.

10 to 13 years

A lively and active programme of events throughout the day including windsurfing and sailing lessons with our expert watersports instructors. Our enthusiastic childcare staff supervise activities including beach volleyball matches and early evening entertainment.

A 6 day Kidz Club activity programme is included in the price of your holiday.

14 to 17 years

From experience - we know that teenagers like their independence. Our Indy Club offers exactly that, with a chance to join new friends as and when they wish on a daily programme of supervised activities and watersports. In the evenings we hold an 'Indy social club' which includes dinner and evening entertainment such as floodlit beach volleyball or a team challenge.

The Indy Club is included in the price of your holiday and runs during the summer school holiday period and the October half term.

RYA Sailing

Stage 1 or 2 (Age 6-13 yrs) - 10 hours of tuition spread over the week, introducing children to the basics and the fun of sailing with certificate awarded, subject to assessment.

Stage 3 (Age 8 yrs upwards) - 10 hours of tuition over the week, teaching rigging, launching, recovery, capsize recovery, sailing techniques and theory

Stage 4 (Age 10 years upwards) - 10 hours of tuition over the week, teaching sailing techniques including launch mooring and recovery, maneuvres in crewed boats and recovering man overboard.

RYA Windsurfing

Starting Point & Moving on Courses (Age 10-13 yrs) - 8 hours of tuition over the week. Introduction to the fun of windsurfing and moving on to beach starts and basic harness technique in level 2. RYA Youth level 1 or 2 certificate awarded, subject to assessment.

 Scuba Diving

Our Scuba diving team of instructors run the PADI Bubblemaker programme for children aged 8 years upwards who would like to try scuba diving.

PADI Bubblemaker Scuba Diving (Age 8 years upwards)
Mission 1 - Octopus: Children will learn breathing techniques, swimming underwater, how tot use the air gauge, ear clearing, hand signal use, ascent and inflating BCD on the surface.

Mission 2 - Shark Squad: This season will teach young divers how to clear water from their regulator and mask, recover their regulator and with fun games, gives them the confidence to progress to the sea

Snorkelling

Our team of diving instructors have specifically designed the Dolphin Squad snorkelling programme to introduce children to underwater and fun of snorkelling in a safe environment. Certificates and stickers are awarded for completed missions.

Dolphin Squad Snorkelling (Age 4 years upwards)
Mission 1 & 2 - Starfish & Crabs: A 1 hour session in the swimming pool learning about snorkelling equipment, key hand signals and getting in and out of the water. Progressing to mission 2 and learning to clear masks of water, equalising ear pressure and identifying and collecting objects under the water.

Mission 3 - Dolphin Squad: A 1 hour session in the sea either from the beach or a boat trip and involving swimming through hoops underwater and identifying hazards, snorkel displacement clearing and completing a skills circuit.

Tennis

Kids Group Coaching (Age 4-12 years) For our younger tennis players we run a kids group coaching session with groups broken down by ability and age. the session consists of four 1 hour lessons which will cover all the basic strokes in a fun packed environment of drills and game play
