Our market leading childcare has been designed so that both parents and children get the most from their skiing holiday. We have 4 children's clubs for 4mths-12yrs olds all of which is
pre-bookable in the UK. Places are limited and therefore we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment. For more information about each of the 4 children's clubs, ages and activities, please see below.

Childcare Facilities

We have creches in 9 of our chalethotels (and a Kidz Club in the Toviere) plus the Hilton Whistler Resort & Spa, so you can drop your child off after breakfast and get straight out on the slopes. All our creches are warm, bright and filled with toys and equipped with essentials such as cots, potties, bottle sterilisers and fridges. There are also 24-hour kitchens for those 2am feeds. Childcare Staff

All of our nannies have an NNEB, NVQ or equivalent qualification, or at least 2 years' relevant childcare experience and are all English speaking.

Free Evening Drop-In Creche

After a day on the slopes it's great being able to enjoy a relaxing dinner or a drink in the bar knowing your children are safe and sound. Our free evening drop-in creche service means you can do just that. This service is available every evening from 7.30 to 11pm, except the night you arrive. At Whistler there is a drop-in creche service five nights a week, also from 7.30 to 11pm.

Ski School

Kids off to ski school? Our childcare staff will happily take them there for you and pick them up when it's over. They'll help make sure they're settled into their class and collect them at lunchtime for lunch back at the chalethotel. At the end of the day. it's back to the chalethotel for tea where you can hear all about the day's skiing adventure.

Baby Club 4 to 11 months

Held in our bright, toy-filled, in house crèches, the baby club is for our tiniest guests. The club runs six days a week from 9am to 5.30pm. We try to ensure that each keyworker looks after no more than two babies and that children have the same keyworker all week. Where possible we will keep to your baby's usual routine for naps, milk and feeds.

Toddler Club 1 to 2 years

Located alongside the baby club, this club provides stimulating play for toddlers, whether they are walkers or crawlers. Where possible your child will have have the same nanny all week.

Mini Club 3 to 5 years

3 to 5 years inclusive

Children aged 3-5 years enjoy a fun-packed programme of activities six days of the week. Indoors, there are arts and crafts, face painting and games. Outdoor excitement might include cable-car rides and snowman-building. We are happy to arrange either full day or half-day ski school for 4 to 5 year olds, with drop-off and collection by the childcare staff. For those who are keen to get their little ones on the slopes early, the snowman kindergarten in La Plagne teaches children from 3 years of age.

Kidz Club 6 to 12 years

6 - 12 years

The Kidz Club runs during the week from 9am to 6.30pm* and until 1pm on Saturdays, this club is for 6-12 year old skiers and non-skiers. Skiers are taken to and collected from ski school by our childcare team in the mornings and afternoons, and join the other children in the Chalethotel for lunch. Non-skiers spend the day enjoying a range of indoor and outdoor activities such as treasure hunts, tobogganing and hot chocolate trips, with skiers joining in the fun after their lessons.

Not available at the Rosanna, Moris and Cristallo.

Available at the Toviere during the main school holidays only when children aged 7yrs+ are welcome.

Children's Ski School

Making learning fun

Learning is always easier when it's fun, and especially when it includes snow! In our ski resorts we've selected the best ski schools, all with friendly, English speaking instructors, so your children can relax and enjoy finding their feet on the mountain.

We have places reserved in all our recommended ski schools. As spaces are limited it's essential to book early, particularly during school holidays.

Step 1

Book your ski lessons in advance, ideally when you book your holiday, to secure a place.

Step 2

On arrival day, a ski school representative will visit your chalethotel to discuss which class is best for your child. Depending on the resort and the child's age, classes run for full or half days. Children usually start ski school at 4 to 5 years old.

Step 3

Have fun! Lessons are lightly structured in small groups. At the end of the week pupils are presented with an award and a certificate to celebrate their progress.
