Val d'Isère

France France

Charming and popular as ever

Originally a small farming village, Val d'Isère is now one of the liveliest and best loved of all the French resorts. With reliable snow, wide open spaces, infinitely varied terrain and great nightlife, it's easy to understand why.

Fantastic scenery

In the middle of the resort, the nursery slopes progress to easy runs with breathtaking views. For stronger skiers, the Face de Bellevarde provides one thousand vertical metres of pure exhilaration and the infamous Solaise bumps are thrilling.

More fabulously fun runs

The hamlet of Le Fornet is the gateway to Val d'Isère's glacier. The beautiful pistes here flatter all levels of skier whilst powder adventures are never too far away.

So much snow, so many places to ski

There's an astoundingly large ski area to explore at Val d'Isère. The "Funival" in La Daille takes you to the best departure point for Tignes where you can test your skills on the awesome slopes of the Grande Motte glacier. Best still, this is all available on your Val d'Isère lift pass.

Lovely and lively

Famous for its nightlife, Val d'Isère has a plethora of fantastic bars, restaurants, clubs and live music. There's also a swimming pool, ice rink, gym, cinema, snowmobiling, quad and ice driving, and parascending… Trust us, there's plenty to occupy you during your stay here.
